Privacy policy.
We collect as little as possible, only to answer your request and carry out your journey. This policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The data controller is [À COMPLÉTER : prénom et nom], trading as Drive Normandy (entreprise individuelle), [À COMPLÉTER : adresse]. Contact: book@drivenormandy.com.
What we collect, and why
- Booking requests. When you use the booking form we receive your name, e-mail address, phone number, the details of the journey (addresses, date, time, passengers, luggage, flight or train number) and your message. We use them to reply with a price, arrange the journey and invoice it. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and the contract itself (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
- How you found us. The answer to “How did you hear about us?” and the campaign tags of the link you followed (for example a QR code on a flyer) are stored with the request so we can see which flyers and partners work. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).
- Messages. If you write to us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, we keep the exchange for the same purposes. WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd under its own privacy policy.
- Security. Our server keeps technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) for a short time to protect the site against abuse. IP addresses are not stored with booking requests.
What we do not do
No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no sale of data. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser; this is not shared with anyone.
Who receives your data
Only your chauffeur. Requests are stored on our server hosted by [À COMPLÉTER : hébergeur et pays], and a copy is sent to the chauffeur’s phone through Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC) so that he can reply quickly. Accounting records are shared with our accountant when required by law.
How long we keep it
- Requests that do not lead to a journey: [À COMPLÉTER : durée, ex. 12 mois], then deleted.
- Completed journeys: for as long as the contract requires, and invoices for 10 years (French accounting law).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use or ask for a copy, by writing to book@drivenormandy.com. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
